How it works

Set it up once and Recalld keeps an eye on new recalls for you.

  1. Choose your allergens

Pick from the 14 allergens UK law requires food labels to highlight, and the supermarkets you shop at.

  2. Recalld checks for new recalls

Every 30 minutes, Recalld checks the Food Standards Agency for newly published recalls and allergy alerts.

  3. Get an alert that matters

Recalls containing your allergens are highlighted in your feed and, if you turn them on, sent as notifications.

The 14 allergens Recalld can match

These are the 14 major allergens that food businesses in the UK must declare.

  • Celery
  • Cereals containing gluten
  • Crustaceans
  • Eggs
  • Fish
  • Lupin
  • Milk
  • Molluscs
  • Mustard
  • Peanuts
  • Sesame
  • Soya
  • Sulphur dioxide and sulphites
  • Tree nuts
Always check the official notice. Recalld is an information service, not medical advice. It can't guarantee every alert, so read product labels and follow the official Food Standards Agency notice, which every recall in the app links to.
